Chemical distributors buy solvents, resin feedstocks and other industrial chemicals from international petrochemical and specialty producers, and resell them to manufacturers across the region. They sit midstream between large chemical makers upstream and downstream users such as glove, coatings, plastics and electronics factories. Some also run small in-house chemical manufacturing operations.
